Beverage Service: Option 1 - Full Bar Service:
  • Gallagher Centre operates the bar. Persons attending events purchase liquor at regular prices as determined by the Gallagher Centre.
Option 2 - Corkage Bar Service:
  • The renter/event organizer applies for a liquor licence, purchases the liquor, and delivers it to the Gallagher Centre;
  • The renter/event organizer determines the prices of drinks;
  • The renter/event organizer pays to the Gallagher Centre corkage charges of $2.50 per person attending per event;
  • The Gallagher Centre provides glasses, ice, mix (excluding clam-tomato and real orange juices), lime, bar lime and bartenders;
  • The renter/event organizer provides, at its cost, additional supplies such as juices, etc.
  • The renter/event organizer provides the drink ticket sellers, or a ticket seller, bar float and tickets will be provided by the Gallagher Centre at a cost of $100 per event.

Livestock Shows and Sales:      
Regular facility rental rates apply, but are not subject to non-profit rate if a sale is held. Rental includes indoor penning, sales ring set-up, weigh scale, wash rack, and inhouse sound system. Tie-out penning is extra. Manure and straw disposal from the stalls and grounds is the responsibility of the renter. These must be removed within two days of the sale.

Livestock Sales:
Rental is 3% of gross sales or $1,800, whichever is greater, based on pre-sale fees (minimum two days) of $350 per day, post-sale fees (minimum one day) of $350 per day, and sale day fees of $750 per day.
       
Display curtains for on-site use:

Round tables and cloth chairs are not available for use outside the Gallagher Centre.
Rental tables and chairs that are damaged or broken will be charged back to the renter at a rate of $100 per table and $50 per chair.
Terms and conditions:
  • All rates are reviewed annually and are subject to change.
  • Rates do not include GST or other applicable taxes, except where noted. GST will be charged where applicable at the rate of 5 per cent.
  • Security for all events is the responsibility of the renter.
  • Parking attendants for all events are the responsibility of the renter. 
  • Renters must carry a minimum $2 million public liability insurance. Private functions are exempt.
  • A 15% merchandising fee will be applied where applicable on goods sold during events.
  • Ticketmaster must be used for all ticket marketing unless otherwise noted.
  • Non-profit and charitable groups are eligible for a 25% discount on building rental rates only, except where noted. Items where this discount is not available are marked with an asterisk (*). Non-profit registration certificate must be provided to receive this discount.

  • Only Pepsi products may be used or sold at the Gallagher Centre.
  • Only Molson brand beers may be used or sold at the Gallagher Centre.
